I tried "Skincare Diet" using Innisfree Rebalancing Blueberry Line

Few months ago, I experienced a major hormonal breakout that lead me to change my whole skin care routine and decided to start a skincare diet. As the opposite of the K-beauty 10-Step Routine, the skincare diet overthrow the complicated skincare routines and focus on the basics of a skincare routine, eliminating all the non-essential products from the routine.
For my own skincare diet, I ditched all the oil cleansers, serums, ampoules and oils for a  water based cleanser, a toner and a lotion.
I chose the Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing line because of my love of blueberries and because bluberries are extremely rich in antioxidants that prevent free radicals from damaging and destroying skin cells. Another reason for my choice was the minimalistic and clean ingredients list of the different products in this Blueberry rebalancing line.

I will review and talk in more details about each product I used during my skin care diet period :

Blueberry rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser

Innisfree claims that Blueberry rebalancing 5.5 cleanser is a mild foam cleanser that control the oil-water balance and the PH level of the skin during cleansing. It is supposed to protect the essential moisture in the skin, keeping it supple and healthy.

As a first step of my skin care routine, I lather a small quantity of the cleanser on my wet clean hands to create bubbles, apply it on my damp face and then massage it gently for about one to two minutes.

I noticed that even if this product cleanses the skin very well and get rid of all the dirt, it is still very mild and gentle in comparison with the other foam cleansers in the market. It also maintain the skin natural moisture so you won't feel dryness right after cleansing.

Below is the list of the ingredients so check it out :

Ingredients:

Purified Water, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin (20,000 Mg), Diglycerin, Diethylhexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Blueberry Extract (500mg), Allantoin (100mg), Butylene Glycol, Orange Peel Oil, Lavender Oil, Raspberry Ketone, Sodium Methylcocoyl Taurate, Benzyl Glycol, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Potassium Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Disodium Edetate, 1,2-hexanediol, Acrylate / C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Polyquaternium-67, Sodium Acetate

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Skin:

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing skin is marketed as an excellent daily toner that restore oil-
water balance and the PH level of the skin. It claims that this watery toner delivers moisture to the skin with an irritation-free and fresh formula.

Right after cleansing, I apply it on a damp face by taking an adequate amount then dabbing it on my skin. When I am feeling generous I dab seven layers of this toner (7-toner method) to pamper my skin with all the good ingredients and the moisture that this toner offers.

When I purchased it I was a bit concerned since I have a very dry and dehydrated skin and this toner consensticy is very watery and light so I was surprised to find out that this light weight toner is actually very moisturising and give the skin a healthy glowy look.

I am sharing with you the list of ingredients, don't forget to check it.

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Lotion:

The Blueberry Rebalancing Lotion is packed with triple hyaluronic acids to replenish and maintain moisture in the skin .    It also leaves your skin with a clean and refreshing finish for a radiant glow. It is supposed to keep the skin healthy by building a skin comforting PH level and oil-water balance.

After using the blueberry rebalancing skin, I gently spread an appropriate amount of this lotion and pat it into my skin for better absorption

I personally have always prefered creams over lotions since they don't really give a good amount of moisture to my dry skin.

But let me tell you that now, I am in love with the innisfree rebalancing lotion properties, including the consistency and how it easily absorbs into the skin, the amount of moisture it delivers without it being too heavy or sticky and the glowy dewy finish it gives me.
